Everyone is hoping for their dream wedding, but what makes a dream wedding? Maybe your dream wedding includes exotic island getaways, full of ocean breezes, and stunning sunsets, sand between your toes, and beauty beyond compare. A Hawaii wedding is a unique experience that will bring magical memories of your special day that will last forever.
There are many kinds of Hawaii weddings available. However, Hawaii beach weddings are probably the most popular type of weddings because of the lasting images that a beach wedding provides. A ceremony held on the beach during the afternoon, sunset, or early evening can be the perfect way to express your love for your new spouse. The Aloha Spirit shall smile upon you whenever it happens.
One superb wedding location is Kauai, also known as the Garden Island. Kauai weddings can be very unique. Imagine the spectacular mountain views as the happy couple takes a helicopter ride to the tropical forest as part of the ceremony. Other distinctive and memorable wedding settings can include a cruise or, for the more adventurous, an underwater wedding while wearing scuba diving gear! Whatever they want, a bride and groom can find ideal settings and accommodations for their wedding ceremony.
Once your Kauai wedding is over, you can spend your honeymoon on the island or at one of many Hawaii resorts. Whether your honeymoon ideas include golf, tropical cuisine, or simply staying in your oceanfront home to watch the sun set, Kauai has what you need to make your honeymoon magical.
Weddings can be very difficult to plan. Wedding planning can be compounded when the setting is a destination wedding like Hawaii. However many couples choose to get married in Hawaii and they are assisted by experienced, professional wedding planners and coordinators. There are many wedding service providers who are ready and waiting to meet your wedding needs. They are committed to making your wedding experience everything you dreamed of.
Have you ever heard of the magic of these majestic islands that will make your truest dreams come true? Imagine the images taken of the most romantic settings. These memories of the Aloha Spirit will be cherished by your loved ones and yourself forever.

HAWAII WEDDINGS AND EVENTS "We're Tying The Knot Full Service Event Design and Week Of Wedding Planner" via
I absolutely loved working with Carrie from Cherished in Hawaii Weddings and can't imagine any other bride going with anyone else. I am from Southern California, but have relatives in Oahu and I did not want to worry about all the details of planning a destination wedding, nor did I want my relatives to worry about those details – so I knew I had to find a wedding coordinator I could trust.
So approximately 11 months before our wedding I did my research and emailed four different wedding coordinators in Oahu. Carrie was the first one to get back to me within 24 hours and from her first email I could tell she really wanted to get to know me, the groom, and our vision. From there we started with emails and updates every few weeks, but a good three months to the wedding – Carrie and I were emailing and speaking much more frequently. Carrie's style of communication with me as a bride was great because I didn't feel like just another bride on her checklist – but more like another girlfriend catching up on life.
As for the week of the wedding. Carrie checked on us the day we landed. Then Carrie and Mark met with us two days before the wedding for a nice casual sunset shoot – this was a great way for us to get a feel for Mark's photography style and for him to get to know what worked for us. Our sunset photo shoot was relaxing and fun and really gave us the opportunity to get to know Carrie and Mark. The day before the wedding we had our dress rehearsal and we decided to do dinner before the dress rehearsal. We were running behind by 45 minute and Carrie and Mark were understanding and went with the flow and never once made us feel bad… although we did feel bad for running late.
The day of the wedding was amazing! I was soo relaxed and stress free because I knew everything would fall into place and it did. Now here's are our details:
45 guest total (including us)
A pretty tight budget
Most of our guest were from California
1. Carrie worked her magic and got us an awesome deal at the JW Marriott in Ko' Olina for our wedding party.
2. Our ceremony site was at Paradise Cove's “the point” and was breath taking. Our officiant was the kindest and sweetest guy and his ceremony was beautifully done. The guitarist was great too and really did sound like Jason Mraz. haha
3.Our reception at Roy's Ko'olina's private banquet room on the top floor was amazing. The staff was on point and very friendly, everyone complemented our surf and turf selection, our signature drinks were creative and tasty, the mc/dj were fun and kept us dancing all night.
4.Our photos turned out great! Mark and Carrie definitely captured the moment. We were running a little behind during the ceremony and my husband and I really wanted additional photos on the beach of just the two of us. So of course Carrie made sure our guest were taking care of while my husband and I snuck away with Mark for 30 minutes to get those beach photos we wanted. Nobody even knew we were gone because the food and drinks at Roy's was so good.
5. Our videographer was referred to us by a relative – but Carrie and Mark went with the flow and were professional and made him feel comfortable and were able to work well together.
In short, whether you are a bride on as tight or large budget, looking for a destination wedding, have a small or large wedding party, etc etc etc… Cherished in Hawaii Weddings is the ideal wedding vendor of choice!
